Looking at magazine and billboard advertising, we will focus on the “seven second rule” and the difference between visual impact and communicative visualization.
Here we discuss some of the techniques and rules for the PowerPoint page, including information overload, composition, colour rhythms and stylistic consistency.
Most importantly, we will work on a methodology to build visual metaphors, select images, and collaborate with graphic artists in order to best communicate your idea.
